MWC2017: LoRa-enabled IoT devices get test solution
Anritsu is to create new test and measurement solutions for R&D, certification and manufacturing of LoRa-equipped IoT devices. LoRa Technology, developed by Semtech is a wireless RF solution for LPWAN devices. LoRaWAN is a standardised protocol based on LoRa Technology that is supported by the LoRa Alliance ecosystem of over 400 member companies.
MWC 2017: Test set upgraded to support Bluetooth 5
An upgrade to its MT8852B Bluetooth Test Set to support the latest Bluetooth Core Specification version 5 was unveiled by Anritsu at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The MT8852B is a leading RF measuring instrument for design proving and production test of a wide range of products that integrate Bluetooth technology.
Spectrum analysers upgrade 5G test measurements
Heralding what it describes as “a revolution” in the test market, Anritsu has unveiled the Spectrum Master MS2760A family, the world’s first ultraportable, millimeter wave (mmWave) spectrum analysers which cover frequencies up to 110GHz. The instrument which is about the size of a large smartphone can therefore verify high-frequency designs, including those used in 5G and E-band applications.
Analyser upgrade supports NRZ and PAM4 measurements
Two upgrades for the Signal Quality Analyser MP1800A series which strengthen Anritsu’s offering for 32 GBaud PAM4 BER test solutions. The newly developed G0375A 32 Gbaud Power PAM4 Converter and G0376A 32 Gbaud PAM4 Decoder with CTLE support the PAM4 input tests and BER measurements defined in the next-generation 200GbE/400GbE and CEI-56G standards.
Companies team up for LPWA IoT lab tests
Anritsu is partnering with KDDI on connection performance and power consumption tests for Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) used in IoT market. The LTE standards typically used for IoT are standardised by 3GPP as Cat.1, Cat.1+eDRX, and Cat.M1, and globally chip venders are developing and releasing communication chip.
Demonstrating testing capabilities at MWC 2017
Anritsu will be demonstrating its testing capabilities for LoRa devices for R&D and Manufacturing at Mobile World Congress on the 27th February – 2nd March (Hall 6 Stand 6F40). In a joint collaboration with IMST, Anritsu will be demonstrating its preliminary version of a LoRa test measurement suite including RF transmitter and receiver tests of LoRa devices for production lines.
WLAN test set supports IEEE802.11ac standard
Anritsu has released the Wireless Connectivity Test Set MT8862A, an integrated one-box test set specifically for testing 802.11 WLAN devices. With built-in communications protocols, the MT8862A measures the performance of the WLAN devices in the actual operating state, and is the first test equipment of its kind to support all IEEE802.11ac/n/a/g/b standards.
100G-EPON test solution supports OLT and ONU BER measurements
The Signal Quality Analyser MP1800A Series 100G-EPON Test Solution has been launched by Anritsu. The newly developed 100G-EPON Application Software MX180014A and Signal Quality Analyser MP1800A support BER measurements of OLT (Optical Line Terminal) and ONU (Optical Network Unit) for the latest 100G-EPON standard.
MWC 2017: Test solutions address Connected living
At Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona (February 27- March 2), Anritsu will be showing a range of its test, measurement and monitoring solutions which support the development, deployment and monetisation of the latest technologies paving the way for Connected living.
