For the first time Emil Otto GmbH took part in this year's international productronica trade fair in Munich. In addition to its standard products, the company from the Rheingau presented to the specialist audience the product group of combi-soldering fluxes for wave and selective soldering as well as the SMD adhesives of its Belgian partner, Roartis for the first time.

Productronica attracted 38,000 visitors from nearly 80 countries for its 40th anniversary show including an increased presence from Asia/Pacific. Three test and measurement companies brought debut-making products to Bavaria. Pico Technology debuted the PicoSource PG900 Series pulse generators. These are high-speed, low-cost instruments for use in single-ended and differential pulsed measurement applications.

A record number of 47 European competitors went soldering iron to soldering iron at IPC’s Hand Soldering Competition at productronica 2015. Taking first place with a score of 501 points out of a maximum 506, was Jacek Majchrzak, ParterTech Poland. Majchrzak was also crowned first place winner at productronica 2013.

Nordson ASYMTEK has won the 2015Global TechnologyAward in the dispensing category for its Programmable Tilt + Rotate 5-Axis Fluid Dispenser. The award was presented at the recent productronica trade fair in Munich.
