3-Channel LED Ballaster Provides 3000:1 Dimming Capability for up to 24 LEDs
Linear Technology has announced the LT3003, a LED ballaster that drives three separate strings of LEDs with 3% accurate current matching, delivering uniform LED brightness. The LT3003 is capable of driving up to 24 LEDs at 350mA each, three strings of 8 LEDs each, making it ideal for backlighting a wide variety of TFT-LCDs and heads-up display applications. The LT3003 operates in boost mode, Buck mode and Buck-Boost mode, enabling operation in ma...
48V Buck Mode LED Driver Powers Ten 50mA LEDs
Linear Technology has announced the LT3590, a 48V, buck mode DC/DC converter designed to operate as a constant-current LED driver. An internal 55V, 80mA switch and Schottky diode enable it to drive up to ten 50mA LEDs in a single series string from a 48V input, making it ideal for industrial and LED signage applications.
36V 2.2MHz Buck LED Driver from Linear Technology
Linear Technology has announced the LT3592, a 36V step-down DC/DC converter designed to operate as a constant current LED driver. Its internal 36V, 900mA switch enables it to drive up to six 500mA white LED in a single string from a 36V input for industrial and LED signage applications. It can also drive two 500mA LEDs from a 12V lead acid battery input for automotive applications.
Quad LED Driver Drives up to 32 1A LEDs
Linear Technology has announced the LT3476, a 2MHz DC/DC converter designed to operate as a four channel constant current LED driver. Each channel of the LT3476 can drive up to eight 1A LEDs in series, enabling the LT3476 to drive up to 32 1A LEDs while delivering efficiencies up to 96%. Each of the four channels is operated by an independent True Color PWM signal, enabling each channel to be dimmed independently to ratios as high as 1000:1.
Small Diameter Sealed LEDs For Tough Equipment Applications
The CS Series LEDs from Cynergistic Technologies Ltd provide a small diameter indicator for tough applications and water-tight usage. Specially designed with a neoprene gasket/washer to seal against water ingress, the CS LEDs feature a drop-in fit for a standard small size 6mm diameter hole. For greater stability than a snap-in design, the CS LEDs offer secure and easy fastening with hex nuts and spacers for panel mount applications. Made with a ...
