Software upgrades enable faster LTE-A testing
Two software upgrades that enable testing of RF Transceiver (TRx) characteristics for 6CC CA have been rolled out by Anritsu using the company’s MT8821C. The upgrade enables mobile terminal, chipset manufacturers and communications operators to test key technologies that support faster LTE-Advanced/LTE-Advanced Pro network speeds: Carrier Aggregation (CA), which aggregates multiple component carriers (CCs).
WLAN measurements under RF quality testing
Anritsu has announced new WLAN Security Function software for its MT8862A Wireless Connectivity Test Set, which supports evaluation of devices for the rapidly growing IoT market even when WLAN security is turned on.Applications including TVs, the connected car, industrial equipment and sensors are rapidly adopting the WLAN standard. To ensure reliable operation, parameters such as wireless reception range and sensitivity need to be tested under r...
T&M partners produce PCI Express 4.0 test system
A partnership providing what is claimed to be the industry’s most capable PCI Express 4.0 (PCIe Gen4) test solution, integrates Anritsu’s Signal Quality Analyser (SQA) MP1900A BERT with the LabMaster 10Zi-A oscilloscope and QPHY-PCIe4-Tx-Rx software from Teledyne LeCroy. This comprehensive system provides high-speed IC, device, and network engineers with one complete solution to conduct automated transmitter and receiver compliance te...
Software supports V2X message analysis globally
The V2X 802.11p Evaluation Software MX727000A from Anritsu supports V2X message analysis for US, EU and Japan vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-roadside (V2X) communications standards. V2X communications is a critical element in the future of the connected car, with the first IEEE802.11p-compliant V2X services already being deployed in Japan, and the US and Europe rapidly rolling out commercial services.
EuMW 2017: Spectrum analysers to debut in Nuremberg
The latest Spectrum Analyser/Signal Analysers and Vector Network Analysers will be presented by Anritsu at European Microwave Week in Nuremberg (10-12 October). During the show, Anritsu will be displaying up-coming and new additions to the Spectrum Master and ShockLine product families, and demonstrating just some of the latest developments in test and measurement.
Collaboration enables 400GE device/module verification
A collaboration to build a high-speed test lab to provide a bit error rate test (BERT) system with symbol rate up to 56Gbaud PAM4 and 56Gb/s NRZ per channel has been announced byAnritsu and Industrial Technology Research Institute. The BERT system will incorporate wideband optical spectrum analyser (OSA), high-precision pulse pattern generator (PPG) and high-sensitivity error detector (ED) modules for generating high quality PAM/NRZ test signal o...
