Buck regulators supplies high continuous current at 2MHz
The SiC46X from Vishay is a family of wide input voltage high efficiency synchronous buck regulators with integrated high side and low side power MOSFETs. Its power stage is capable of supplying high continuous current at 2MHz switching frequency. The regulators are available from Rutronik.
Rutronik to display security solutions at the IoT Tech Expo
At the IoT Tech Expo Amsterdam on 27th-28th June, Rutronik will be exhibiting. In connection with the eponymous trade show theme, the Internet of Things (IoT), the distributor will be providing information on key products from the SMART and EMBEDDED product campaigns and on security solutions in accordance with Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Ultra-precise analogue front end
NJU9103 is an Analog Front End (AFE) with an integrated PGA (Programmable Gain Amplifier) that has been released byNJR at Rutronik. The product can be used to process analogue signals with an amplification of G-512. Being able to configure the front end with a microcontroller via a serial peripheral interface aims to ensure an array of application opportunities.
Hardware-based security solution
A turnkey security solution which provides robust security to the diverse applications in the Internet of Things, ranging from industrial automation systems and smart homes to consumer devices, the OPTIGA Trust X, is available from Rutronik. The high-end security controller comes with full system integration support for easy and cost effective deployment of advanced security measures.
1W DC/DC converter powers GaN drivers
The isolated 1W DC/DC converter series RP-xx06S designed by RECOM and now available at Rutronik power the latest GaN (Gallium Nitride) drivers. The converters meet the demanding requirements of GaN drivers with a 5200VDC isolation and a low isolation capacitance of less than 10pF.
Polymer capacitors can be alternative to scarce MLCCs
Available now from Rutronik, Panasonic polymer capacitors overcome the current shortage and very long lead time problems associated with multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) and offer significant performance improvements in many areas too.
MCUs offer security and connectivity for IoT
The Renesas S3A1 microcontroller group, now available from Rutronik UK, is suited for all applications that require a high level of security and IoT device-to-cloud connectivity. The MCUs have been released alongside the v.1.4.0 version update for the Synergy Software Package (SSP).S3A1 devices provide a host of analogue and security features to realise a variety of embedded systems and IoT designs at a competitive price point.
Rutronik, TDK extend European pact
Rutronik and TDK Europe have significantly expanded their distribution agreement for the European market. In addition to the TDK-Micronas and TDK-Lambda brands, Rutronik is now selling TDK’s EPCOS brand of products. Under the EPCOS brand, TDK offers aluminum electrolytic and foil capacitors, transformers, varistors, thermistors, piezo components, and actuators for haptic feedback.
AF transistor replaces obsolete part
The NPN Silicon AF Transistor BC817K from Diotec in a SOT-23 package, now available from Rutronik, is an equivalent substitute for the obsolete BC817K from Infineon. With a power dissipation of 500mW, a high collector current of 500mA, a peak collector current of up to 1A as well as a high current gain between 100 (BC817K-16) and 630 (BC817K-40), measured at 100mA.
