Showcase of World’s first self-powered CO2 Sensor at ISH 2011
Gas Sending Solutions will showcase the world’s lowest power CO2 gas sensor enabled by revolutionary EnOcean self-powered wireless technology at ISH 2011 – the leading international trade fair for innovative bathroom design, energy efficient heating and air-conditioning technology and renewable energies – taking place in Frankfurt, 15-19 March. Scottish-based GSS recently joined the EnOcean Alliance as a member and will demonstrate its inno...
Hitachi 21.3in TFT display for professional imaging applications
Hitachi has announced the introduction of a new 21.3in 1.9MegaPixel UXGA TFT display module. The new TX54D13VC0CAA display implements the latest evolution of Hitachi’s In-Plane-Switching technology, IPS-Pro, which provides a stable colour image from any viewing angle, excellent colour saturation and a very high contrast ratio.
MTS Develops Temposonics Rod & Cylinder Sensor
MTS Systems Corp., Sensors Division has added the new Model CR Rod & Cylinder sensor to its Temposonics C-Series product line. The cost-optimized Model CR integrates a standard Model CS or CM sensor inside a versatile and rugged thick steel mechanical package, which protects the sensor electronics from mechanical and environmental damage.
Sensors Provides Cost-Effective Alternative to Linear Encoders in Steel Rolling Mills
MTS Systems Corp., Sensors Division's Temposonics linear-position sensors are now available with an improved linearity correction option, which makes them an attractive alternative to the magnetic linear encoders currently used in a number of rolling mills. MTS' magnetostrictive linear-position sensors are much more robust and cost-effective than incremental linear encoders and, with the improved linearity correction option, are able to offer th...
Ecliptek Offers MEMS Spread Spectrum Oscillators
Ecliptek Corporation has announced the expansion of its EMS MEMS spread spectrum low EMI output surface mount oscillator, the EMS4 series. The EMS4, in a miniature 2.0mm x 2.5mm package, reduces EMI at the clock source instead of locations later down the clock stream, potentially eliminating the use of supplemental shielding enclosures and/or filtering components.
AA battery holders with retainer strap
Memory Protection Devices introduces part number BK-6100-PC4 for holding two AA batteries. With 4 large stainless steel contacts firmly applying pressure to the AA batteries you’re assured of a long lasting trouble free connection. Four printed circuit contacts allow quick mounting and serial or parallel connection flexibility of circuit design without the need for fasteners or glues.
NXP launches new generation of highly efficient low VCEsat transistors
NXP Semiconductors today announced the launch of the first eight products from its new 4th generation low VCEsat (BISS) transistors. The product family comes in two optimized branches – an ultra-low VCEsat and a high-speed switching branch. They are available in a voltage range from 20 V to 60 V and are housed in small SMD packages SOT23 (2.9 x 1.3 x 1 mm) and SOT457 (2.9 x 1.5 x 1 mm).
