Compact transducer with new improved accuracy
Designed for insulated nominal voltage measurements in traction applications is the DVM series from LEM.This family of devices spans the range from 600-4200 VRMS and incorporates LEM’s proven and patented insulating technology. Despite achieving very high levels of isolation with a safety insulation voltage of 12kV, the DVM transducer is compact, measuring only 138x63.4x69mm.
Non-isolated digital point-of-load standard for 60A current range
The Architects of Modern Power (AMP Group) consortium has announced an additional standard aimed at establishing common mechanical and electrical specifications for the development of advanced power conversion technology for distributed power systems.
Potentiometer input module meets high accuracy applications
An accurate and reliable high-performance potentiometer input module has been unveiled by Mantracourt. The new DSCUSB-PT plug and play USB device has been designed to convert resistance-based input into digital output and, together with Mantracourt’s DSCUSB Toolkit software, allows for quick and easy measurements.
Schottky barrier rectifiers deliver fast switching speed
MBR Series Schottky Barrier Rectifiers, the latest Littelfuse devices based on silicon Schottky diode technology, are available at Rutronik. The two new series are designed to meet the general requirements of commercial and industrial applications. These Schottky Barrier Rectifiers come with extremely fast switching speed, very low forward voltage drop, low leakage and high junction temperature capability.
25V, 600mA sync buck-boost DC/DC converters consume 1.6µA IQ
Linear's LTC3130 and LTC3130-1 synchronous current mode buck-boost converters deliver up to 600mA of continuous output current from a wide variety of input sources, including single- or multiple-cell batteries as well as solar panels and supercapacitors. Their 2.4-25V input voltage range and 1-25V output range (LTC3130 is adjustable) provide a regulated output with inputs above, below or equal to the output.
KEMET Institute of Technology series begins 33rd season
KEMET Corporation has announced its 33rdKEMET Institute of Technology (KIT) series. Beginning on September 20thwith a two-day event at its Simpsonville Innovation Center, KIT is a free technology workshop based on classroom instruction and live discussion covering details on how capacitors and other passive components are made, how they work and their applications.
Powering the next generation of green microphones
Driving the growing demand for voice control is the trend for intuitive and simple user interfaces, either for complementing or for replacing keyboards, touchscreens and other traditional controls.
