Miniature power inductors added to BEC's "Select" alternative passives
Material shortages are badly affecting the availability of SMT Power Inductors. BEC Distribution can now offer quality Alternatives from 5-7 weeks lead time.
Pickering Interfaces extends family of PXI & PXIe precision resistors
Pickering Interfaces has added models to its high-density precision resistor module family, improving sensor simulation accuracy. The updated 40-297A (PXI) and the new 42-297A (PXIe) modules are now available with additional resolutions - 0.125Ω, 0.25 Ω, 0.5Ω, 1Ω, 2Ω, 4Ω and 8Ω - extending the resistance range to 85.3MΩ on a single 6-channel module. The setting accuracy is now +/-0.1% +/-resolution (was +/-0.2% +/-resolution).
Mouser agrees global pact with Advanced Photonix
Mouser Electronics has signed a new global distribution agreement with Advanced Photonix, a division of OSI Optoelectronics.
Analogue design: the key to feed our digital world
Milan Ivković, Director Segment Analog/Power & Technical Support Center Manager EBV Elektronik discusses how design engineers can benefit from analogue systems in tandem with the digital world.
All aboard: how railways can lower transport emissions
The International Energy Agency (IEA) estimates that passenger and freight transport activity will more than double by 2050. Railway transport provides an efficient solution to meet growing transport demand, and electrification offers a way to meet expectations with minimal environmental impact. Here, Simone Bruckner, Managing Director of Cressall, explains how rail transport can help lower transport’s emissions.
BEC appointed UK distributor by BlockMaster Electronics
BEC Distribution has announced a UK distribution agreement with BlockMaster Electronics, an established, global terminal block manufacturer based in the USA.
Braking resistor assemblies withstand harsh environments
In stock at distributor Mouser Electronics is thtarget="_blank" rel="nofollow"e Type HPBA braking resistor assemblies from TE Connectivity (TE).
Ready for Warehouse 4.0?
Since the pandemic, the shortage of warehouse workers in the UK has been well documented. But recently, the RTITB claimed that digitalisation could be the key to tackling the gap, having found a solution that gets forklift operators into warehouse and logistics operations faster, reducing lost days by 88.7%.
Stackpole improves TCR on RMCW wide terminal thick film resistors
Commercial and industrial power electronics increasingly demand robust power supplies with high stability and low thermal resistance. For these requirements, standard chip resistors may not be the best solution.
How to support the electrification of industrial vehicles
REO UK has released a new whitepaper which explores how technology can be used to facilitate growth in industrial EV usage.
