OEM 2.8 MPixel Scientific CMOS Board Level Camera
Hamamatsu introduces the new C11440-50B board level camera for OEM scientific and industrial customers. It has a unique scientific CMOS sensor and is designed to deliver high performance and cost-effective imaging in a small, board-level format.
Hamamatsu Photonics Back-thinned CCD with Electronic Shutter Function
Hamamatsu Photonics introduce a new design of back-thinned linear CCD image sensor. The S11155-2048 and S11156-2048 utilise a resistive gate structure, with “on chip” electronic shutter function, offering high speed readout with low image lag. With their back-thinned structure these CCDs offer a high sensitivity (> 80 % quantum efficiency) from the UV to the NIR region of the spectrum.
Hamamatsu Photonics Long Wavelength Type NIR Mini-Spectrometer
Hamamatsu Photonics just introduced the newest member of its TG series of mini-spectrometers, the C11118GA. The new TG NIR spectrometer module expands on the existing Hamamatsu range and adopts a high sensitivity, low noise InGaAs image sensor, specially selected to match the optical arrangement. The C11118GA is optimised for NIR operation and works in the 0.9 µm to 2.55 µm waveband. This new module provides higher sensitivity and the furthest ...
Hamamatsu Photonics High Power Super Luminescent Diode
Hamamatsu Photonics introduce a new series of super luminescent diodes, the L11341 series, to their existing range of high performance diodes. The L11341 series features a very high radiant flux of 30mW at a peak wavelength of 1050nm, which is long for an SLD and unique among Hamamatsu’s range.
Hamamatsu Introduces the New ORCA-Flash2.8 Scientific CMOS Camera and ORCA-D2 Dual CCD Camera
Hamamatsu Photonics is at Microscience 2010 exhibition (29th June – 1st July, ExCeL Centre, London) and offer a live demonstration of both the new and innovative ORCA-Flash2.8, our first high-sensitivity digital camera based on a next-generation Scientific CMOS image sensor and the ORCA-D2, a ground-breaking dual CCD camera which enables simultaneous dual-wavelength imaging that features two CCD devices and interchangeable optical blocks.
Altatech Introduces Advanced Materials CVD and ALD Tool
Altatech Semiconductor has announced the AltaCVD, an advanced materials chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and atomic layer deposition (ALD) tool. Based on Altatech’s vaporizing technology enabling the deposition from new, viscous and non-volatiles precursors, AltaCVD offers new capabilities to R&D facilities and pilot productions lines.
Agilent Technologies Optical Modulation Analyzer Enables Greater than 200G Transmission at 28G Symbol Rate
Agilent Technologies today introduced the industry's first system impairments analysis for chromatic dispersion (CD) and first-order polarization mode dispersion (PMD) with the N4391A optical modulation analyzer. The new tools allow system engineers, for the first time, the ability to characterize distortions of constellation diagrams caused by the CD or PMD of an optical link. Agilent will demonstrate the new tools, together with a 224 Gb/s tran...
Agilent Technologies Introduces 28 Gb/s Multiplexer for J-BERT, ParBERT
Agilent Technologies announced the N4876A 2:1 Multiplexer, extending the generator data rate of the J-BERT N4903B and ParBERT 81250A up to 28 Gb/s. Design and test engineers in the semiconductor, communications, storage, and computing industries now can accurately characterize the next generation of serial interfaces to optimize their design margins. The first public showing of the N4876A is January 20 at the Fiber Optics Expo 2010, Agilent Boot...
Agilent Technologies Adds Bit Error Ratio Analysis Capabilities to Optical Modulation Analyzer
Agilent Technologies has announced it has added bit error ratio (BER) capabilities to its optical modulation analyzer. Agilent will demonstrate the new BER test feature on a polarization multiplexed signal at ECOC 2009 Vienna, Austria, booth 666, Sept. 21-23.
Agilent Technologies - Accurate Transceiver Characterization Solution for 16x Fibre Channel
Agilent Technologies has announced the expansion of its J-BERT N4903B high-performance serial BERT for 16x Fibre Channel transceiver testing. Design and test engineers in communications, storage and computing, and consumer industries can now accurately characterize and test interoperability of next-generation serial interfaces operating between 150 Mb/s and 14.2 Gb/s. Agilent will demonstrate the J-BERT and the new 14G option at ECOC 2009, Sept. ...
