SANYO Low Noise Green Laser Module from Photonic Products
SANYO has launched a 'Low-Noise' laser module in their popular DLX range of 532nm DPSS TEC laser modules which is being shown for the first time at LASER 2009 in Munich by Photonic Products, SANYO's authorised distributor.
Photonic Products Showcases Tiny Laser Diode Collimators
Photonic Products is showcasing its new range of tiny laser diode collimators at LASER World of Photonics 2009 in Munich. The new range of laser diode collimators achieves the technically difficult feat of combining high alignment accuracy with a tiny package and comprises a micro laser diode collimator which measures just 4.5mm in diameter and two miniature laser diode collimators which measure just 6mm in diameter.
532nm high visibility green laser modules
Photonic Products has introduced two new 532nm DPSS high visibility green laser modules from SANYO; the DLX-9356-13 (532nm, 5mW) and the DLX-9456-02 (532nm, 10mW). The modules, measuring just 20mm diameter by 50.5mm, have integral thermo electric control that enables stable operation over a wide range of temperature levels between -10 degrees Centigrade to + 50 degrees Centigrade.
SANYO Laser Diode Catalogue Available As Free Download
Photonic Products, the UK optoelectronics device manufacturer and laser diode specialist has announced that the new SANYO Laser Diode Catalogue for 2008 has just been released and is available as a free download from Photonic Products’ website (www.photonic-products.com).
Blue-Violet Laser Diodes give up to 85mW optical output power
Photonic Products, the UK optoelectronics device manufacturer and laser diode specialist, has announced that Sanyo’s tiny blue-violet laser diodes are now available in industrial strength and power: three new 405nm laser diodes which offer 20mW, 45mW or a massive 85mW optical output power, the highest power available in a single mode laser diode with an internal monitor photodiode.
635nm Photon laser modules incorporate near end of life detection facility
Photonic Products, the UK opto-electronics device manufacturer and laser diode specialist, is showcasing new 635nm Photon laser modules with Near End of Life Detection facility at LASER 2007 in Munich. As a laser diode approaches the end of its operational life, its imminent failure is signalled by an increase in the current being drawn from its drive circuitry. Typically, when the current draw reaches a value of 120% of its original operating va...
635nm Red Laser Diodes use less Power
Photonic Products, the UK optoelectronics device manufacturer and laser diode specialist, has announced the introduction of two new 635nm, 5mW laser diodes from Opnext, Inc. The operating current on these diodes has been decreased by 50 percent, resulting in extended battery lifetime and lower power consumption without compromising their 5mW optical output power. Their aspect ratio is also improved from 3.8 to 3.1.
Wright is right for Photonic Products
Photonic Products Ltd, the UK optoelectronics device manufacturer and laser diode specialist, recently acquired by StockerYale, Inc., has announced the appointment of Tony Wright as Director of Sales for its expanding operations.
Link Microtek strengthens sales force
Link Microtek, the Basingstoke-based supplier of RF and microwave components, subsystems and instrumentation, has made a significant expansion to its sales force with the appointment of four new personnel. Responding to increased demand for the company’s products and services, Link has appointed three new sales engineers and an internal sales administrator.
Luxtera and STMicroelectronics to Enable High-Volume Silicon Photonics Solutions
STMicroelectronics and Luxtera Inc. has announced a new agreement to bring Luxtera’s leading-edge IP and knowledge in silicon photonics to a dedicated process to be developed by ST at its 300mm facility in Crolles, France. Production at ST’s Crolles site will enable the two companies to support the market with the world’s most advanced low-cost, high-volume solution for silicon photonics components and systems.
