STMicroelectronics Unveils Ultra Low-Loss Rectifier Diodes for More Efficient and Greener Power Supplies
STMicroelectronics has introduced a new family of high-efficiency power rectifiers that will help product manufacturers achieve energy-efficiency approvals, such as 80 PLUS. Saving energy has become a major selling point for power-supply and computer manufacturers. The 80 PLUS incentive program proposes to increase power supply efficiency, which helps reduce global carbon emissions by reducing wasted energy.
High performance laser diode filters
Semrock has introduced a family of high performance filters specifically designed for use with popular laser diodes. The MaxDiode filters are guaranteed to have a 90% transmission over a defined range of each diode’s possible laser wavelengths, while reducing unwanted out of band spectral noise. The MaxDiode filters are ideal for both OEM manufacturers of laser-based fluorescence instrumentation, and laboratory researchers who use diode lasers ...
STMicroelectronics Innovation Recovers Power Lost Due To Solar-Panel Variability
STMicroelectronics has unveiled the industry’s first IC to combine important power-optimization and power-conversion functions for solar generators. ST’s innovation will allow multi-panel arrays, ranging from domestic rooftop-type equipment to larger installations, to deliver more energy at a lower cost per Watt.
STMicroelectronics Leads Way to Higher Solar Power Efficiency
STMicroelectronics today announced that Giuseppe Izzo, General Manager of Taiwan Operations and Vice President for ST’s Greater China and South Asia Region, will deliver a speech at 2010 Taipei Summit – PV Taiwan Forum on the Company’s latest semiconductor innovations for next-generation photovoltaic applications.
Second generation multi-channel transimpedance amplifiers
MAZeT GmbH has introduced a multi-channel transimpedance amplifier - the MTI04CS/CQ. Earlier versions of the MTI signal amplifiers were mainly designed for the use with photo diodes in small array and row sensors, such as MAZeT color sensors. The new MTI04CS/CQ is designed to work with MAZeT's JENCOLOUR product family as well as a wide range of other applications.
