Microsemi Introduces New Cost-effective Transient Voltage Suppressors to Protect Aircraft from Lightning Strikes
Microsemi Corporation today introduced two new cost-reduced versions of its transient voltage suppressor devices in its patented plastic large area device (PLAD) package. The lower cost 15kW MPLAD15KP and 30 kW MPLAD30KP TVS families meet lightning-protection requirements in aircraft, including the multi-stroke standard (RTCA DO-160E), that have grown in importance as a result of the introduction and growing use of composite body airframes.
Anritsu present new Products and Seminars at EuMW
At European Microwave Week, Anritsu will be providing a full day of technology seminars to enable visitors to learn more about the importance of speed, span and stability, the three key parameters for ensuring that test equipment is providing reliable measurements on which to base designs and evaluations. The seminars will be supported by demonstrations to exhibition visitors showing how the latest developments in test equipment and technology he...
Accelerate Wireless Antenna Design with AWR Connected for Optenni Lab
AWR and Optenni have today jointly announced the release of AWR Connected for Optenni Lab, an integrated workflow that accelerates wireless antenna design by enabling optimized matching circuits to be transferred from Optenni Lab matching circuit software to AWR’s Microwave Office high-frequency design software with a single mouse click.
NXP's IQ Modulators Feature DC-Independent DAC Interfacing
NXP have unveiled two 5V wideband IQ modulator devices that combine high dynamic range with fast on/off switching performance for use in radio frequency up-conversion. Operating between 400 MHz and 4 GHz, the BGX7100 and BGX7101 consume less than 1 W power – 10-percent more efficient than other solutions on the market today. Because RF performance is independent of input common mode voltage, these modulators offer flexible interfacing with any ...
