For the production of box-type sheet metal components, a new range of folding machines employing electromagnetic rather than conventional mechanical clamping of the sheet has been introduced by Press & Shear, Tamworth, under a sole agency agreement with the South African manufacturer, Electrabrake, a division of Allied Production Industries (Pty). Luxury yacht makers Princess Yachts are using freestanding Goliath cranes from Street Crane Company to produce their new 30 to 40 metre M Class tri-deck yachts at the historic Devonport Dockyard.
