Miniature High Power UV Fibre Light Sources
Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced the new miniature, high power UV fibre light source, also known as the “S2D2”. The new L10671 features a brand new high performance 10 Watt Deuterium lamp, providing high radiant intensity and very high stability of 0.004 % (which is comparable to Hamamatsu’s industry leading 30 Watt D2 lamps).
Hamamatsu Introduces a New Streak Camera for UV to NIR Measurements
Hamamatsu Photonics introduces a new streak camera series for UV to near-infrared measurements of extremely fast light phenomena. The C10910 series simultaneously delivers intensity vs. time vs. position (or wavelength) information with single-photon sensitivity and temporal resolution down to 1 ps. With such capabilities, these streak cameras are suitable for measuring fast fluorescence lifetimes, response times of quantum devices, electron bunc...
High Speed Hybrid Photodetector Module
Hamamatsu Photonics introduced a hybrid photodetector module, the H10777. The hybrid photodetector (HPD) dispenses with the traditional metal dynodes found within a conventional photomultiplier tube (PMT) and instead photoelectrons are accelerated in a high electric field onto a silicon avalanche diode target, which is connected to form the cathode/output of the device.
New LED from Hamamatsu for POF Data Communication
Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the new L10762 resonant cavity LED for POF (Plastic Optical Fibre) data communication. The new L10762 is a red emitting resonant cavity LED that offers 7 times the fibre end output power compared to conventional types; this is achieved by bonding a microball lens to the LED chip surface. The microball lens greatly increases the coupling efficiency to optical fibres by focusing the emitted light into the fibre.
High Speed InGaAs Linear Image Sensors and New Multichannel Detector Head from Hamamatsu
Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the high speed G10768-1024D InGaAs linear image sensors and the new C10854 multichannel detector head to meet increasing industrial requirements to measure foreign bodies on-line in the near infrared range (wavelength range from 800 nm to 1700 nm).
Hamamatsu Photonics Driver Circuit for InGaAs Linear Image Sensors
Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the new C10820 InGaAs linear image sensor driver board. Designed to control the G9494 high speed image sensor series, the C10820 features simple operation through its CameraLink interface, and requires only digital inputs for the start and clock pulses. Additionally, just +5V and +15V supply voltages are needed for the pulse generator and power supply respectively.
Hamamatsu Photonics Introduce the New “Dual Energy” X-ray Line Scan Camera
Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the new C10800 series of “Dual Energy” X-ray Line Scan Cameras, specifically designed for imaging materials and objects requiring improved detection and composition classification.
Advanced MPPC Semiconductor Detector Technology for Photon Counting Applications
Hamamatsu Photonics has expanded their range of semiconductor detectors featuring photon detection capability with the introduction of the brand new S10362-33(X) series multi-pixel photon counter (MPPC). The new device utilizes a Geiger-mode avalanche photodiode structure for ultra-low-level light detection, and the active area has been increased almost ten times from 1 mm2 to 9mm2. The MPPC is easily connected to an external circuit for simple o...
Hamamatsu to Showcase at Photonex 2009 Exhibition
Introducing at Photonex 2009, the new C10990 series of OEM CCD board level cameras. The new series feature high sensitivity and high resolution and include the latest 1.3 million pixel 2/3 inch progressive scan interline front illuminated CCD, circuitry and lens mount all on one board.
New FDSSuCELL Imaging Based Plate Reader from Hamamatsu Photonics
Hamamatsu introduces a new imaging based plate reader, the FDSSμCELL, specifically developed for compound screening and assay development applications in the Pharmaceutical, CRO and Biotech Industries.
