Diodes' LDOs achieve 2% accuracy over industrial temperatures
A pair of low dropout linear regulators with industrial temperature rating of -40 degC to +85 degC have been introduced by Diodes Incorporated. Suiting applications including set-top boxes, routers and LCD monitors, the 300mA, 150mV dropout AP7335 and 600mA, 300mV dropout AP7365 offer adjustable and fixed output voltage operation at an accuracy of 2% across the temperature range.
Diodes Incorporated releases first product in thermally enhanced powerdi5060 package
The DMP3010LPS 30V rated p-channel enhancement mode MOSFET from Diodes Incorporated is the first device to be released by the company in its unique powerDI5060 package, offering designers of notebooks, netbooks and other consumer electronics improvements in reliability and reductions in pcb space requirements.
Protection interface from Diodes Incorporated safeguards power management ICs
The AP9050 from Diodes Incorporated is a dedicated protection interface designed to protect the latest generation of power management ICs (PMIC) against overvoltages.
Super Barrier Rectifiers from Diodes Incorporated raise reliability in automotive applications
Diodes Incorporated has announced the first devices in a family of Super Barrier Rectifiers (SBR) designed for automotive applications. With a lower forward voltage drop, improved avalanche rating and higher safe operating area (SOA) than alternative Schottky or ultra-fast diode alternatives, these rugged rectifiers enable automotive designers to increase the reliability of motor control, display panel and LED lighting circuits.
Diodes Incorporated Reduces MOSFET Off-board Height by 50%
Diodes Incorporated has launched a line of high-efficiency N- and P-channel MOSFETs in low-profile DFN2020-6 packages. With an off-board height of only 0.4mm and a footprint of 4mm2, the DFN2020H4 packaged DMP2039UFDE4, a -25V rated P-channel device, is 50% thinner than competing devices. The other MOSFETs in the series are provided in the 0.5mm high DFN2020E package, which is 20% thinner than the common 0.6mm high alternatives.

Semtech today announced the SX8743, an expansion of its low-power temperature sensing and monitoring platform that can monitor up to four temperature zones in servers, advanced printers, appliances and other complex systems.
Semtech Adds to New Platform of Silicon Voltage Regulators for Space Applications
Semtech has received MIL-PRF-19500/406 qualification from Defense Supply Center Columbus, (DSCC) of its brand new 1.5W Zener diode voltage regulator platform.
Device Offers Low Capacitance for HDMI Enabled Products
Semtech has announced the RClamp0544M, a four-line protection device with the low capacitance and high protection levels necessary for high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) and digital visual interface (DVI) enabled products.
ESD Protection for High-Speed Applications
Semtech has announced two new additions to its RailClamp family of low capacitance protection devices that provide system designers a new option for adding critical power protection to high-speed lines without the high clamping voltage and high capacitance limitations of competing solutions. RClamp1502B and RClamp2402B are designed with an ultra-low capacitance of 0.6pF to protect high-speed data lines without signal attenuation. The devices al...
Cree - 650V Silicon Carbide Schottky Diodes Improve Advanced High-Efficiency Data Center Power Supply Designs
Targeting the latest data center power supply requirements, Cree, Inc. announced its new line of Z-Rec 650V Junction Barrier Schottky (JBS) diodes. The new JBS diodes provide blocking voltage to 650V to accommodate recent changes in data center power architecture that industry consultants estimate will result in energy efficiency gains of up to 5 percent. Because data centers account for nearly 10 percent of the world’s annual consumption of el...
