RF & microwave switching modules exhibited at EuMW
Exhibiting from stand 162 at EuMW (European Microwave Week), 7th to 9th October in Rome, Pickering Interfaces will present their PXI and LXI Ethernet RF & microwave switching solutions portfolio. Including multiplexers, matrices and general-purpose switches ranging from low-level DC signals to RF and microwave, the switching solutions can be used to increase the flexibility of test and measurement systems with signal bandwidths up to 65GHz.
RF adapters have ingress protection from water & dust
A comprehensive line of RF adapters, normally employed in the DAS, cellular, aviation and military industries, is available from Fairview Microwave. The IP67 rated adapters are suited to the aforementioned industries due to their ingress protection from water and dust.
VCO can be implemented in any PLL system
The CLV0989A-LF, a VCO which operatesover the frequency range of 939-1039MHz within 0.5-4.5VDC of tuning, has been released byZ-Communications.Featuring aspectrally clean signal of -109dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset and a tuning linearity of 1.1:1, the VCO is easy to implementinto any PLL system.
Up converter's LO suppression removes need for Tx Filter
An up-converter, suitable for28-34GHz point-to-point radio applications, has been released byM/A-COM Technology Solutions. The MAUC-011003integrated up-converter providesa typical conversion gain of 12dB and an image rejection of 15dBc. Integrated withan LO doubler, LO buffer amplifier and RF buffer amplifier, the up-converter removesthe customers’ need for a Tx Filter through it's LO suppression.
Intelliconnect chooses Rapid for channel plunge
Intelliconnect Europe , the UK-based specialist manufacturer of RF and waterproof connectors is diving into the distribution channel. It has agreed a contract with Colchester based Rapid Electronics appointing the company as its first Stockholding Distributor. The initial products to be made available to customers will be a selection of Intelliconnect’s market-leading waterproof range and triaxial interconnects.
Transimpedance amplifier provides high sensitivity
Targeting the 100G optical networking market, Texas Instruments has introduced the company's first transimpedance amplifier (TIA). The ONET2804T provides high levels of sensitivity with negligible cross-talk and low input-referred noise of less than 2μA, offering stable and robust communication in hot-pluggable transceivers.
GaN on Si demo takes centre stage at European Microwave Week
M/A-COM Technology Solutions (MACOM)will showcase a broad GaN product portfolio along with a live GaN on Si demo at EuMW 2014 in Rome (Oct 7-9). It will also feature a suite of new products aimed at applications spanning industrial, scientific, medical, E-Band point-to-point wireless and X-Band radar.
