Optical probe overcomes 400G PAM4 debug challenges
A 56GBd 400G PAM4 optical probe has been introduced for use with the Tektronix DPO70000SX Series real-time oscilloscopes. The 59 GHz DPO7OE2 single mode optical probe delivers the performance and advanced debug capabilities designers need to troubleshoot 400G PAM4 components and reduce time to market.
Optical modules lift 400G yields
Two optical modules have been introduced by Tektronix for its DSA8300 sampling oscilloscope that offer high sensitivity and low noise, enabling manufacturers to increase production capacity and improve yields for 400G designs moving into production.
Test equipment from Tektronix covers the Olympic Winter Games
A division of the NBC Sports Group,NBC Olympics has chosenTektronix to provide audio and video test monitoring, as well as network monitoring, for its production of the XXIII Olympic Winter Games, which take place in PyeongChang,South Korea, from8th-25thFebruary 2018.The announcement was made today byTerry Adams, Vice President, IBC Engineering, NBC Olympics, andCharlie Dunn, General Manager, Video Product Line, Tektronix.
Test centre deepens Microlease's roots in India
A ‘pay-as-you-go’ test facility for start-ups and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) has been opened in India by Microlease. TheMicrolease Test Centre of Excellence allows companies to reduce product development cycle times by providing flexible, low-cost access to the latest test technology.
USB spectrum analysers power EMI/EMC test solution
EMCVu is an all-in-one solution for EMI/EMC pre-compliance testing and troubleshooting from Tektronix. In today’s electronic design environment, about 50% percent of products fail electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing the first time. EMCVu gives engineers an accurate, convenient and cost-effective approach to determine if their product designs will pass EMC emission compliance testing on the first try.
Oscilloscope, AWG aid 50Gb/s wireless data transfers
A demonstration that could one day enable the next generation of ultra-high bandwidth wireless communications links has been aided by Tektronix instrumentation. In an article published in the journal Nature Communications, an international research team reported the first transmission of two real-time video signals through a terahertz multiplexer at an aggregate data rate of 50 gigabits per second, some 100x faster than cellular networks.
Power analysis added to mid-range oscilloscope
Options have been added to the 5 Series MSO mixed signal oscilloscope by Tektronix. They include a power analysis solution, Automotive Ethernet testing solution, and serial trigger and decode solutions for the aerospace and automotive markets.
Software solution sharpens up automotive design
Automotive-specific software solutions for the Tektronix 5 Series MSO mixed signal oscilloscope are designed to speed up validation and debug and shorten design cycles for the complex electronics systems found in next-generation vehicles. These new automotive solutions take full advantage of 5 Series MSO features including up to 8 channels, 12-bit resolution and a high-definition capacitive touch display and highly intuitive user interface.
Rack mounted oscilloscope lowers cost per channel
The 5 Series MSO Low Profile oscilloscope from Tektronix is for machine diagnostics and automated test (ATE) applications. Building on the 5 Series MSO mixed signal oscilloscopes and its FlexChannel technology and 12-bit ADCs (analogue to digital converters), the new low profile instrument offers a combination of channel density, performance and low-cost per channel at 1GHz bandwidth.
