The Sitara AM335x ARM Cortex-A8 microprocessors, launched last month, deliver power dissipation levels below 7mW, along with two industrial automation hardware development tools, complete softw...
Renesas - Compact Package Optical-Coupled MOSFET with Low Output-Capacitance
Renesas announced the development of an optical-coupled metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET), the PS7901D-1A, that achieves complete electrical isolation within the package by using light for signal transmission.
FireTRAP wireless relay-controller system delivers turnkey solution optimised for trap-release applications
RF Solutions, the Sussex based remote control systems specialist, has introduced an RF remote-activation system allowing up to four 5A-rated relays to be controlled from a range of 200 metres. The radio-receiver/relay-controller is a rugged IP68-rated unit optimised for year-round use with trap-release systems such as clay pigeon launchers, and has settings for momentary, latched and timed relay release.
Toshiba announces power-saving, miniature photorelays
Toshiba Electronics Europe has launched a new series of semiconductor photorelays that offers longer service life, lower power consumption and reduced board space requirements than mechanical alternatives for a wide variety of switching applications.
Power triac photocoupler provides 800V off state voltage
The new TLP3082 power triac photocoupler from Toshiba Electronics Europe features reinforced insulation and 5kV isolation voltage for AC safety applications. Specified with an off-state voltage of 800V, Toshiba’s TLP3082 consists of a zero-crossing (ZC) photo-triac optically coupled to a gallium arsenide (GaAs) infrared emitting diode. Maximum inhibit voltage for zero-crossing is just 20V, contributing to reduction of EMI emissions.
