IQD’s new industrial temperature range SMD OCXO
IQD have extended the performance of their IQOV-90 series high stability low phase noise OCXOs to encompass the full standard industrial temperature range of -40 to 85°C. High operating temperature ranges are significantly more technically challenging in OCXOs than for other frequency products. By increasing the internal crystals turnover point to a safe margin above 85°C and reducing the thermal loss of the circuit, our design team have been a...
Hands-on seminar at LED Practice Developer Forum was a full success
There is much to be learnt when converting conventional lighting to LEDs. The participants in the annual LED Practice Developer Forum in Würzburg gained useful practical experience of the advantages and pitfalls when implementing LED lighting systems. In addition to informative lectures and educational seminars, the attendees had the chance to talk directly with the manufacturers as part of a tabletop exhibition.
RFMD Releases Family of Linear GaN Power Transistors
RF Micro Devices today announced that RFMD has production released two highly linear gallium nitride (GaN) RF unmatched power transistors—RFHA3942 (35W) and RFHA3944 (65W)—that deliver superior linear performance versus competing GaN transistors.
Everlight Electronics Extends Signage LED Portfolio
Everlight Electronics Co, has extended its signage LED portfolio to offer five new products for indoor, semi-outdoor and outdoor applications.
IQD launches new low phase noise and low power clock oscillator
IQD’s new CFPS-115 crystal clock oscillator offers two key features; low phase noise and low current consumption. At 40.0MHz the phase noise performance is -80dBc/Hz at 10Hz offset and -145dBc/Hz at 1kHz offset, figures which are around 5dBc better than similar design parts. In addition, the new model offers low power consumption of around only 7mA; this compares with a normal SMD oscillator where current consumption would typically be around 2...
Farnell element14 collaborates with ADI to promote Portable Analog Design Kits among engineering students
Farnell element14 has announced it is to distribute Digilent’s recently developed Analog Discovery Kit which is part of the Analog Devices, Inc, ADI global University Program. Unveiled for the first time in Europe, the “Analog Discovery Kit” will be demonstrated at electronica 2012 in Munich, Germany, this week at the Farnell element14 stand (A5.558).
Osram – the complete supplier of semiconductor lighting solutions
Wherever there is light, you will also find semiconductor light sources from Osram Opto Semiconductors: in the automotive sector, the entertainment industry and even the security environment. At this year’s electronica fair (booth 107 in Hall A3) the company will therefore be highlighting its role as a complete supplier of semiconductor lighting solutions. This leading international exhibition of components, systems and applications will provid...
