Rugged accelerometers can take some punishment
The rugged CTA103 accelerometers from Aptifirst Instrumentation and Technology are able to withstand up to 4,000g of acceleration overload. The MEMS precision capacitative silicon devices that form the cores of the accelerometers are potted in a 30 x 25 x 15mm, IP65 aluminium housing to provide maximum reliability. The transducers are available with either 0.5-4.5V voltage output (CTA103V), or with a 4-20mA current loop output (CTA103A).
Why The Continuing Industry Paranoia?
June’s market numbers were horribly boring says Malcolm Penn, Chairman & CEO of Future Horizons on publication of The Global Semiconductor Monthly Report. “12:12 semiconductor industry growth continued to slow, exactly as we said it would,” he adds, “from last month’s 45.4 to ‘only’ 38.5%, quarterly month on month numbers showed the same ‘boom, boom, bust’ unit growth dynamics and ASPs continued to recover.
