MLFA AEC compliant melfs in stock
Stackpole is now stocking the MLFA AEC compliant metal film melf resistors. The MLFA is available in a 0.4W rated 0204 size in the MLFA25 and a 1W rated 0207 size in the MLFA1. The MLFA has exceptional stability demonstrated over life, biased humidity, and short time overload testing. In addition, the MLFA offers pulse power handling up to 3500 watts for single short duration pulses, and lightning surge withstanding up to 6KV for resistance value...
HVA series high voltage thru-hole resistors in stock
Stackpole is now stocking the most popular sizes and resistance values of its HVA Series. The HVA Series offers high voltage handling up to 8000V in a small package size. The RoHS compliant and halogen free HVA Series offers resistance values from 1M up to 1G in tolerances as low as 1% and in 200ppm TCR. The high voltage film achieves VCR of 20ppm/V or better.
Compact SMD 5W current sense resistors
It has been announced that Stackpole's new HCSM2818 is a 5W surface mount part with an all-metal element and moulded construction. The HCSM2818 is available in resistance values of four, five, ten, 15, and 20mΩ in one and five percent tolerances. TCR is 200 ppm for the values below ten milliohm and 75ppm for values of ten milliohm and above.
SMD high current jumpers in sizes from 0402 to 2512
Stackpole's HCJ Series, a surface mount chip jumper, offers current ratings ranging from 14.2amps for the 0402 up to 63.2amps for the HCJ2512. In comparison, the typical rated current for a standard 2512 thick film jumper is 3amps.The HCJ0402 has a maximum resistance of 3mΩ while the other sizes have a maximum resistance of 0.5mΩ. This ensures much lower power dissipation for the HCJ compared to similar jumpers with typical resistance...
SMD versions of disk varistors
It has been announced by Stackpole, that the PV Series offers two chip sizes, 3225 and 4032. These two sizes correspond to the equivalent five and seven millimetre disk MOV's offering protection for circuits with working voltages ranging from 11 to 300VRMS.
IEC high voltage pulse handling up to 7kV
It has been announced that Stackpole's RNV Series meets IEC 60065.14.1 standards handling up to 7kV for 50 discharges of a 1nF capacitor.
Leaded MOV's designed for overvoltage protection
Stackpole's RV series of radial leaded metal oxide varistors is available in a wide range of disk sizes and working voltages designed for general purpose overvoltage protection. The RV series is UL1449 certified and offers disk sizes from 5 up to 20mm with peak current ratings up to 18,000A and energy handling up to 792J. The RV series offers protection for electronics with operating voltages ranging from 14 to 1,465VDC.
Four terminal shunts for high sensing efficiency
The HCSK Series from Stackpole is a surface mount metal element high current shunt with four terminals. Four terminal Kelvin sense resistors provide accurate sensing as it removes the effect of lead resistance in the sensing function. The HCSK2725 rated at 5W at an ambient temperature of 100ºC utilises materials and a raised element which provides tolerances as low as 1% and TCR of 50ppm/ºC.
Axial leaded resistors offer anti-moisture performance
The HDM Series from Stackpole is an axial leaded carbon film technology resistor with moisture withstanding capability. Axial leaded resistors that need to withstand high humidity typically require a metal glaze technology which is considerably more expensive. The HDM Series can survive 100 hours in a pressure cooker at 120°C, over 98% relative humidity and two atmosphere’s pressure while standard carbon film and metal film resistors wo...
Axial leaded resistors designed for high voltage handling
Stackpole has announced the release of the HVAM Series, an axial leaded series of precision resistors designed for high voltage handling and high resistance values. The HVAM offers resistance values from 500K ohms to 10G ohms depending on size and tolerance.
