Spectrum analyser measures signals in real-time
A full-featured spectrum analyser designed to analyse wireless signals in real-time (not progressively scanned) has been unveiled by Saelig. The feature is essential for seeing intermittent and frequency-hopped signals. The RTSA7500 has all the standard features of a sophisticated, expensive bench-top spectrum analyser, but at lower cost as it uses a PC for the display and processing power.
RF analysers target spectrum monitoring applications
The NRA series of compact rack-mount RF analysers has been expanded by Narda Safety Test Solutions with the introduction of two new ‘RX’ models, which have been specifically designed for spectrum-monitoring applications. The analysers are ideal for short- and long-term observation of all types of RF signals, including pulsed and sporadic transmissions, and will attract oraganisations including communications authorities, broadcast com...
Probe kit aids EMC identification issues
Saelig has availability of the TBPS01-TBWA2 EMC Probe Kit, which includes investigative near-field probes and a wideband amplifier to increase the versatility of economical spectrum analysers to identify EMC issues. The Probe Kit consists of four rubber-handled near-field probes (three H-field and one E-field), a 20dB or a 40dB wideband amplifier, and associated cables, supplied in an attractive wooden case.
Oscillators cover frequencies from 1.25MHz to 60MHz
Saelighas introduced a range of oscillators from Euroquartz that offer wide operating temperature range, femtosecond integrated phase jitter, and superior phase-noise performance. The XON91 and XON53 oscillators are available in frequencies from 1.25MHz to 60MHz and are capable of withstanding temperatures from -55degC to +125degC. Phase jitter is typically 500fs from 12kHz to 20MHz.
USB power testers meet FSK and Baseband variants
The Packet-Master USB-PDA and Packet-Master USB-PDA-E are claimed to be the world's first dedicated USB Power Delivery Analysers and Exercisers. Each is supplied with a PC-based Windows application called GraphicUSB for capturing and displaying PD interactions. “USB Power Delivery” is a specification allowing USB to provide power in a more flexible and adaptable way.
Probe packs in powerful oscilloscope
A USB pen scope that packs the features of a high performance bench top oscilloscope in a small, lightweight and ergonomic probe has been introduced by Saelig. The Owon RDS1021 Wave Rambler fits perfectly in the hand. Used with the included PC software, it converts any laptop or desktop PC into a powerful oscilloscope without the need for additional probes or power supplies. The device displays signals from 5mV to 50V. It features FFT capabilitie...
Rapid deployment enclosure targets EMI/RFI testing
Saelig has introduced inflatable AirBeamEnclosures for quick set-up Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) shielded, Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) shielded, or Chemical Biological Containment (CBC) enclosures, configured to rapidly deploy and provide an instant and uncomplicated state-of-the-art environment.
Saelig introduces fast SPI ethernet controller IC
Saelig announce the W5500 Fast SPI Ethernet Controller IC, with enhancements and cost reductions over previous WIZnet Ethernet ICs. The W5500 chip is a hardwired TCP/IP Ethernet controller that provides easy Internet connection to embedded systems by using a single chip in which the TCP/IP stack, 10/100 Ethernet MAC and PHY are embedded.
Saelig Introduces 'Warrior' I/O, Joystick, Mouse USB Modules
Saelig Company has introduced new Warrior Modules containing the complete electronics required for joystick, mouse or I/O functionality via USB. Based on the successful Warrior USB-interface ICs, these new boards accept analog inputs in the range of 0V to 5V, are compatible with most joystick sensors, and also facilitate measurement, sensor, and other I/O applications.
Saelig Introduces GaN-on-Silicon MAGIC White LEDs
Saelig has announced MAGIC PLW111010 PLCC-2 SMT white light LEDs. These GaN-on-Silicon LEDs are the first commercially available solid state illuminators manufactured on 6" GaN-on-Silicon substrates. With production yields of greater than 95% and fast processing times, a significant cost advantage can be offered over Sapphire- and Silicon Carbide-based LED solutions for a wide range of industry-standard solid-state illumination and indicator appl...
