Hamamatsu Photonics High-Speed CMOS Linear Image Sensor
Since 1993 Hamamatsu Photonics have offered a wide range of CMOS linear image sensors for use in analytical instruments such as spectrophotometers and industrial process monitoring equipment. A new range of CMOS linear image sensors has recently been developed, which offer very high-speed response whilst maintaining high resolution.
Near Infrared Camera from Hamamatsu
Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the new InGaAs camera, the C10633, which features spectral sensitivity in the infrared region from 900 nm to 1700 nm. With excellent quantum efficiency, more than 80% at 1500nm, it provides superior imaging quality and offers high QE, greater than 50%, in the visible region.
Hamamatsu Photonics Long Wavelength Type NIR Mini-Spectrometer
Hamamatsu Photonics just introduced the newest member of its TG series of mini-spectrometers, the C11118GA. The new TG NIR spectrometer module expands on the existing Hamamatsu range and adopts a high sensitivity, low noise InGaAs image sensor, specially selected to match the optical arrangement. The C11118GA is optimised for NIR operation and works in the 0.9 µm to 2.55 µm waveband. This new module provides higher sensitivity and the furthest ...
Photo IC Replacement for Photo-conductive Cells from Hamamatsu Photonics
Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced a linear output Photo IC, the S10604 to replace traditional CdS photoconductive cells (also known as LDRs), which have been used for many years in visible light sensor products. The use of cadmium in electronic equipment is now restricted under European RoHS legislation, so the alternative S10604 photo IC is fabricated from silicon and is fully compliant with all RoHS regulations.
High Speed InGaAs Linear Image Sensors
Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced its high speed G10768-1024D InGaAs linear image sensors to meet increasing industrial requirements to measure foreign bodies on-line in the near infrared range (in the wavelength range from 800 nm to 1700 nm).
Miniature High Power UV Fibre Light Sources
Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced the new miniature, high power UV fibre light source, also known as the “S2D2”. The new L10671 features a brand new high performance 10 Watt Deuterium lamp, providing high radiant intensity and very high stability of 0.004 % (which is comparable to Hamamatsu’s industry leading 30 Watt D2 lamps).
Hamamatsu Photonics Back-thinned CCD with Electronic Shutter Function
Hamamatsu Photonics introduce a new design of back-thinned linear CCD image sensor. The S11155-2048 and S11156-2048 utilise a resistive gate structure, with “on chip” electronic shutter function, offering high speed readout with low image lag. With their back-thinned structure these CCDs offer a high sensitivity (> 80 % quantum efficiency) from the UV to the NIR region of the spectrum.
MOST Forum 2011 Promises Most Inspiring Program
The third MOST Forum on April 5, 2011, in Frankfurt (Germany), will offer a diverse conference program presenting interesting and innovative MOST Technology experiences, solutions and an outlook to upcoming technology directions. The MOST Cooperation appreciates the incredibly intriguing conference presentations that the program committee selected for the MOST Forum 2011, stated Dr. Wolfgang Bott, Technical Coordinator of the MOST Cooperation - t...
InGaAs ROSAs for High Speed Data Transmission at > 10 Gbps
Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced the new G10518 series of 10 Gbps creceivers mounted in industry standard ROSA (Receiver Optical Sub-Assembly) packages.
