Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved drone training is now available in Northern Ireland, with the announcement that UAVAir has added to its growing list of courses across the UK. UAVAir will be bringing its Unmanned Aerial Qualification (UAQ) course to the Clandeboye Estate, Belfast Road, Bangor on the 26-28th November.

Western European consumer goods market drops
In the third quarter of 2016, the Western European Technical Consumer Goods market contracted by 2.4%, compared to the same quarter in 2015. The market was heavily affected by the GBP/Euro exchange rate. There were sales value increases in the major domestic appliances, small domestic appliances and telecommunications sectors. All other sectors declined in value. The TCG market in Western Europe in Q3 2016 generated revenue of €49.7bn.
IoT and automotive to drive IC market growth through 2020
Integrated circuit sales for connections to the IoT are forecast to grow more than three times faster than total IC revenues during the last half of this decade, according to IC Insights’ 2017 Integrated Circuit Market Drivers report.
