Perform High-Voltage Oscilloscope Measurements with The Yokogawa Model 701927
The Yokogawa Model 701927 is a new high-speed differential probe for high-voltage floating signal measurements using the company’s DLM2000 Series of mixed-signal oscilloscopes and other instruments equipped with the Yokogawa probe interface.
Agilent Technologies Extends Its Solutions for Complex Modulation Tests
Agilent Technologies today announced the industry’s first real-time optical modulation analyzer with a bandwidth of 63 GHz. The new instrument allows researchers to characterize the latest coherent receivers and ultrafast transmitters with a sample rate of 160 GSa/s at 63 GHz electrical bandwidth.
Fab feedback for new semi development
In some cases, when developing new integrated devices designers use the initial data they obtain to provide feedback to the fab, requesting a tweak of some process parameter, the better to establish the particular device characteristic for which they are looking. Once the designer is satisfied the device is ready, he or she moves on to a much more detailed sample testing phase.
Agilent Reveal High-Bandwidth Accessories for its InfiniiMax III Oscilloscope Probing System
Agilent have today announced the introduction of economical semi-permanent solder-in probing solutions for its InfiniiMax III oscilloscope probing system. Engineers can use these accessories for high-speed digital system design, component design/characterization and differential serial bus measurements.
Agilent Technologies to Demonstrate Next-Generation Test and Measurement Solutions at AOC
Agilent Technologies today announced it will demonstrate next-generation test and measurement solutions that are enabling electronic warfare including radar, satellite, signal generation and analysis, and in-field RF and microwave at AOC, (Phoenix Convention Center, Booth 225) in Phoenix, Sept. 23-26.
2-Channel RF/IF Rackmount Recorder features Sample rates up to 3.2 GHz
Pentek has unveiled an ultra wide-band RF/IF rackmount recorder, the Talon RTS 2709. Using 12-bit, 3.6 GHz A/D converters and state-of-the-art solid state drive storage technology, this system can achieve sustained recording rates up to 3.2 Gbytes per second. It can be configured as a one- or two-channel system and can record sampled data, packed as 8-bit or 16- bit wide consecutive samples.
Compact 7700 Integrated Microwave ATE System from Aeroflex
Aeroflex has today unveiled the 7700 integrated microwave test system. The 7700 is the market’s most complete turnkey ATE system-in-a-box designed for rapid production testing of microwave and RF components and modules. The 7700 is a bench-sized instrument that utilizes Aeroflex’s synthetic architecture and Common Platform hardware to achieve fast measurement throughput.
EEG AFE from TI for non-invasive brain wave monitoring
TI has today announced an expansion of its award-winning ADS1298 analog front end family today with the industry’s lowest-noise electroencephalography AFE, enabling non-invasive monitoring of brain waves. The 24-bit, 8-channel ADS1299 is the first simultaneously sampling EEG AFE with input-referred-noise as low as 1 uVpp, more than 75-percent lower than the alternative EEG AFEs.
Coherent Communication Test and Measurement Solutions at ECOC
Agilent has revealed that it will demonstrate test and measurement solutions in coherent communication at ECOC (Amsterdam RAI, Hall 1, Stand 712) in Amsterdam, Sept. 17-19. The solutions Agilent will be showing include the following:
