Avago Technologies - Small Isolated Voltage/Current Detectors With 8mm Creepage and Clearance
Avago Technologies announced two new miniature voltage/current threshold detection optocouplers for use in a wide range of industrial control applications. The ACPL-K370/K376 optocouplers are designed to detect AC/DC sources and convert the voltage to a logic interface across an optical coupling barrier to provide safe isolation in electronically noisy environments found in industrial applications. These voltage/current sensing optocouplers are i...
Avago Technologies - Balanced Low Noise Amplifiers for Cellular Infrastructure Applications
Avago has announced two ultra-low noise, high gain, high linearity Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) balanced low noise amplifiers for cellular infrastructure applications. Avago's MGA-16516/17516, which are the latest additions to its family of economical, easy to use LNAs, helps to significantly improve the sensitivity and dynamic range of cellular infrastructure applications. Both LNAs feature a compact footprint and are designed to be used as first sta...
Avago's Miniature Broadband Fully Matched Low-Noise Amplifier MMIC
Avago Technologies has announced the latest addition to its family of low-cost, easy to use, high performance Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) low noise amplifier MMIC products for use in a wide range of wireless mobile communications applications. Avago’s new miniature MGA-21108, which measures 2.5 by 2.5 by 0.55mm in an 8-pin STSLP package, is a fully integrated GaAs LNA for use in the 1.5 to 8 GHz band.
New gate driver extends TI’s family of GaN FET driver ICs
Texas Instruments Incorporated today introduced a low-side gate driver for use with MOSFETs and Gallium-Nitride (GaN) power field-effect transistors (FETs) in high-density power converters. The new LM5114 drives GaN FETs and MOSFETs in low-side applications, such as synchronous rectifiers and power factor converters.
