Expanding its SMART-BOX range of advanced sealed enclosures for industrial electronics, OKW has introduced a new size: 130x220x60mm. Designed to enhance the aesthetics and ergonomics of industrial electronics such as HVAC, control and safety systems, the SMART-BOX enclosures feature hinged flush-fitting trims to conceal and protect all the fixings.

Expanding its custom offering, METCASE has announced that fully bespoke enclosures can be created using the company’s standard case components such as die castings and extrusion profiles or from fully fabricated sheet metal components. As well as complete enclosures, METCASE can manufacture complex bespoke mounting plates, chassis and front panel assemblies.

Metal enclosures division METCASE, from OKW, has extended its bestselling COMBIMET range of aluminium 19” rack mount enclosures with the latest Version T open models. Version T is for networking, communications, laboratory and studio systems that require greater ventilation and ease of access to the electronics. The units are also more cost effective than fully enclosed models.

Portable instrument enclosures are now available in a slim version for tablet style electronics. The CARRYTEC M enclosure is aimed at slimmer products or instruments which still require protection. Applications include portable and desktop electronics for medical and wellness applications, communications, data recording, plant and machine construction, agriculture and forest management. The enclosures can even be fitted to suspension arms.
