Tool suite verifies constrained, low-power embedded applications
LDRA is providing verification for highly constrained applications. By optimising its analysis and testing technology, LDRA has enhanced the ability of the LDRA tool suite to scale down to meet the increasing number of highly constrained, minimal-footprint architectures used in today’s safety-critical and security-critical applications.
Europe’s 1st MCU Car Rally to be launched at embedded World 2014
At embedded World 2014, on stand 350 in Hall 1, Renesas will launch Europe’s first MCU Car Rally competition for students.
Development board delivers low cost Linux-based designs
SILICA used the embedded world exhibition as the launch pad for a new ArchiTech development board that offers a low cost streamlined platform for Linux based designs. The ArchiTech Hachiko board is supplied with a Linux kernel optimised for the Renesas RZ/A1H MCU, to work with a small memory footprint together with a BSP (Board Support Package) for the on-board peripherals, minimising development time.
System extended to provide support to 32-bit MCUs
With a demonstration available at this year's embedded World, Renesas have anounced that WHIS has exteneded its SAFERTOS Real Time Operating System to support the 32-bit RX631 and RX63N Renesas MCUs.
Light sensor fulfills industrial demands of high-accuracy
Enabling factories to quickly configure and monitor multiple RGB light sensors, the Santa Cruz light sensor delivers the high accuracy required in industrial applications. Maxim Integrated Products, who have launched the product, claim that the Santa Cruz is the industry's smallest ambient light sensor.
Patent analysis for non-volatile memories
Focusing on patents in the emerging non-volatile memories market, Yole Développement’s partner, KnowMade, has released the "Emerging Non-Volatile Memories: patent landscape” report. This builds on the information from last year's Yole report: “Emerging Non-Volatile Memories”.
