World’s First 34GS/s AWG To Debut At OFC/NFOEC 2012
Southern Photonics, in collaboration with Micram, has announced the launch of a new 34GS/s Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) to be demonstrated for the first time at OFC/NFOEC 2012 Exposition in Los Angeles, California.
Hamamatsu Photonics Linear CMOS Image Sensor with APS Technology
Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the S11108 CMOS linear image sensor with APS (Active Pixel Sensor) technology. The latest APS technology allows the S11108 to achieve a combination of a very high sensitivity, at 50 V/(lx•s) together with a high speed video data rate of 10 MHz. This is accomplished by simultaneously integrating charge for all pixels and allows the S11108 to offer comparable sensitivity to high performance linear CCD sensors.
Hamamatsu Photonics High-Speed CMOS Linear Image Sensor
Since 1993 Hamamatsu Photonics have offered a wide range of CMOS linear image sensors for use in analytical instruments such as spectrophotometers and industrial process monitoring equipment. A new range of CMOS linear image sensors has recently been developed, which offer very high-speed response whilst maintaining high resolution.
Near Infrared Camera from Hamamatsu
Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the new InGaAs camera, the C10633, which features spectral sensitivity in the infrared region from 900 nm to 1700 nm. With excellent quantum efficiency, more than 80% at 1500nm, it provides superior imaging quality and offers high QE, greater than 50%, in the visible region.
Hamamatsu Photonics Long Wavelength Type NIR Mini-Spectrometer
Hamamatsu Photonics just introduced the newest member of its TG series of mini-spectrometers, the C11118GA. The new TG NIR spectrometer module expands on the existing Hamamatsu range and adopts a high sensitivity, low noise InGaAs image sensor, specially selected to match the optical arrangement. The C11118GA is optimised for NIR operation and works in the 0.9 µm to 2.55 µm waveband. This new module provides higher sensitivity and the furthest ...
Photo IC Replacement for Photo-conductive Cells from Hamamatsu Photonics
Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced a linear output Photo IC, the S10604 to replace traditional CdS photoconductive cells (also known as LDRs), which have been used for many years in visible light sensor products. The use of cadmium in electronic equipment is now restricted under European RoHS legislation, so the alternative S10604 photo IC is fabricated from silicon and is fully compliant with all RoHS regulations.
High Speed InGaAs Linear Image Sensors
Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced its high speed G10768-1024D InGaAs linear image sensors to meet increasing industrial requirements to measure foreign bodies on-line in the near infrared range (in the wavelength range from 800 nm to 1700 nm).
Intense Releases 400W H Mount and 3kW QCW Stack Prototypes at World of Photonics
Intense Ltd has announced it will officially release several new prototype laser bars and stacks which will be on display at the World of Photonics show in Munich this week. Among the devices on display will be newly developed prototypes of a 300W and 400W QCW H mount version product and a 10 Bar 3kW QCW Stack.
Miniature High Power UV Fibre Light Sources
Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced the new miniature, high power UV fibre light source, also known as the “S2D2”. The new L10671 features a brand new high performance 10 Watt Deuterium lamp, providing high radiant intensity and very high stability of 0.004 % (which is comparable to Hamamatsu’s industry leading 30 Watt D2 lamps).
Eblana Photonics announces the release of its 100kHz ultra-narrow linewidth laser diode for use in communications, sensor and medical applications
Eblana Photonics Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland) has announced the introduction of a 1550nm, 100kHz emission linewidth laser to expand its existing EP1550-NLW-B narrow linewidth product series. This addition to Eblana's product portfolio provides a further 50% reduction in guaranteed linewidth over Eblana's existing narrow linewidth products and will provide designers with even further scope for maximising system performance while taking advantage of the ...
