Duo collaborate at the International Machine Tool Exhibition
Toshiba Machine partner, TM Robotics, will kick start its collaboration with Fegemu Automatismos at BIEMH, the International Machine Tool Exhibition 2018. The exhibition will be held from 28th May until 1st June, at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC), Spain. TM Robotics and Fegemu will be demonstrating the latest Toshiba Machine robotics in hall 3, stand number F-04.
BIEMH 2018 marks the thirtieth year of the European trade fair, which welcomes exhibitors from the fields of machinery, process automation, tools, components and metrology. The five day event hosts a total of 1,533 exhibitors from these sectors, with a colossal 40,000 visitors attending the show, from 57 countries.
The exhibition marks the official collaboration between TM Robotics and Fegemu Automatismos, distributor of components and systems for automation and industrial processes. Fegemu Automatismos represents automation brands for the Spanish market, including Toshiba Machine’s European partner, TM Robotics.
To launch the collaboration, Fegemu Automatismos will demonstrate two of TM Robotics’ latest product offerings from stand number F-04 in hall 3. This includes the newest addition to Toshiba Machine’s SCARA robot range, the THE400. The THE400 lends itself to assembly and inspection processes and is suitable for automotive and electronic equipment applications, where precision is key.
The TVM900, a vertically articulated robot from Toshiba Machine’s six-axis selection, will also be demonstrated at the show. The TVM range is suitable for a multitude of industries, providing high levels of productivity at a cost-effective price. The TVM900 is the smallest in the range but boasts a maximum reach of 1,124mm and a maximum payload of 20kg.
“BIEMH marks the official beginning of TM Robotics’ relationship with Fegemu,” explained Nigel Smith, managing director of TM Robotics. “We’ll be attending the show and assisting Fegemu as they help us to launch two of Toshiba Machine’s newest robots to the Spanish market, the THE400 SCARA robot and the TVM900, which is part of the six-axis range.
“The show focuses on putting manufacturers at the forefront of Industry 4.0, by embracing automation, robotics and smarter manufacturing processes. By assisting Fegemu at its booth, we can advise visitors on the best applications for Toshiba Machine’s robots and how the machinery can improve their manufacturing.”
