GNS is pleased to announce the launch of the Kickstarter campaign for Fitti Guard, a new generation of fitness and environmental tracker. Fitti Guard is the first environmental sensing and protection device that you can wear on your wrist.

Fitti Guard comprises ten sensors that help identifying and avoiding unhealthy situations. Fitti Guard detects environmental impacts like ultraviolet light exposure, poor indoor air quality, radioactivity and noise nuisance. A vibration alarm and specific warning icons inform the user as soon as a predefined threshold of exposure is exceeded.

Fitti Guard can help to improve the health and well-being in your daily life. Advanced fitness functions do not only count your steps and calculate the distance and calories. An activity recognition algorithm based on a neural network detects the kind of activity you are performing. Furthermore, tracks are recorded with the integrated GPS and a barometric level sensor measures precisely the covered elevation. The sleep tracking function completes the Fitti Guard support for a healthy and conscious lifestyle.

The attentive companion - stylish, light-weight and with an outstanding battery life of up to 21 days - with the Fitti Guard companion watch you have a reliable health and fitness coach at your wrist.

“This unique activity GPS watch combines fitness and additional health functionality in a single stylish device offering protection from daily environmental influences. We are very proud that our engineers were able to integrate reliable UV and air quality sensors in such a small device. Fitti Guard will give a notice if sun protection is required or to open a window if the indoor air quality is bad based on the WHO recommendations. We will have our Kickstarter campaign end of March 2016 and it would be great if we get the same positive feedback as we had during CES exhibition in Las Vegas this year.” said Bernd Bierwisch, CEO and founder, GNS.
