Anritsu announces that Wellell has adopted Anritsu's Internet of Things (IoT) wireless transmission testing technologies. Utilising Anritsu’s MT8821C radio communication analyser and MT8862A wireless connectivity tester, Wellell has successfully performed IoT connectivity test for its respiratory therapy devices and pressure relief mattresses products.

This collaboration ensures the quality and stability of IoT wireless transmissions and continues to drive the advancement of high-quality smart medical devices.

The Anritsu MT8821C radio communication analyser supports LTE-Advanced, IoT and other cellular technologies in compliance with 3GPP RF testing standards. It ensures stable wireless connectivity even in high-loss environments, significantly reducing over-the-air (OTA) testing time and improving efficiency. Meanwhile, the MT8862A wireless connectivity tester features RF testing capabilities for IEEE 802.11be 2x2 MIMO devices, supporting the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands with a 320MHz bandwidth. With signal control technology based on data rates, it enables RF evaluation for all data rates across major WLAN standards, including Wi-Fi 7.

By leveraging Anritsu’s wireless communication testing technologies, Wellell performs IoT functional tests on its high-quality medical devices, including the iX Series Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) devices and the Optima/Procare Series Pressure Relief Mattresses. These products feature state-of-the-art IoT wireless communication technologies designed to deliver globally standardised connectivity quality. Through comprehensive IoT functional test for this series of products, Wellell is committed to ensuring that each product meets the highest quality standards, delivering safer and more reliable medical solutions for patients and healthcare providers.

“Wellell is committed to providing medical equipment that ensures peace of mind for both healthcare professionals and users,” said Danzel Lee, Senior Director of Wellell. “We selected Anritsu’s IoT wireless communication testing technologies because of their leadership and exceptional performance in the field of wireless testing. These solutions provide high-quality and stable testing capabilities, enabling us to ensure the stability and universality of our devices, further solidifying Wellell’s position as a global leader in the healthcare industry.”

Ivan Chen, General Manager of Anritsu Taiwan, added: “Wellell’s dedication to excellence and innovation in the medical field, combined with Anritsu’s state-of-the-art testing solutions, has set a new standard for medical devices and opened up new possibilities for smart healthcare. Anritsu looks forward to strengthening our collaboration with Wellell, advancing IoT technologies for innovative applications in smart healthcare, and jointly driving industry development to deliver greater value to patients and healthcare institutions.”
