GOEPEL electronic’s X-Ray and Optical Test Equipment now available in the US
GOEPEL electronic’s Automated X-Ray and Optical Inspection systems (AXI/AOI) are now available to the North American market. This is another important strategic step towards meeting the significantly increased demands for optical test equipment for mounted PCBs in the US and Canada.
“NDavid Whetstone, Sales President of GOEPEL electronics Ltd, based in Austin/TX, adds: “Many American engineers are keen to utilize technologically leading inspection equipment to ensure maximum product quality. In particular tasks such as inspection quality, easy program generation and low false call rates characterize our AOI and AXI machines best.”
GOEPEL electronics’ well-proven OptiCon AOI systems, offered in various configuration versions, can be applied in various PCB production areas, such as before or after the soldering process, and as as stand-alone and inline variants. The AOI systems are able to detect manufacturing faults on multiple pin components, such as faulty solder joints and missing, mis-aligned and wrong components. The OptiCon series systems were honored with several industry awards, including Test & Measurement World’s “Best in Test Awards” for OptiCon BasicLine and OptiCon TurboLine.
At the technological leading edge, there is GOEPEL electronic’s x-ray inspection system OptiCon X-Line 3D, which is unrivalled worldwide by utilising a revolutionary GigaPixel image technology. A real-time multi angle image recording capability is the basis that enables a test speed of 40cm²/s for full 3D PCB capturing. Integrated reconstruction methods, based on digital tomosynthesis, allows highly defined evaluation of the board’s single layers.
