Load cells from RDP can be used in both tension and compression
Although commonly used for tension measurement, the RLT series load cells from RDP Electronics Ltd can also be used for compression measurement. Based on the well-proven S-beam configuration load is applied to the RLT transducer via the threads located on the top and bottom surfaces of the device to allow it to flex.
