Livingston, Anritsu & Ascom Organise Seminar on Challenges of 4G Implementation
Test rental specialist Livingston is to stage a seminar looking at the many commercial and technical issues arising from the roll out of Long Term Evolution (LTE) mobile networks. It has teamed up with leading equipment suppliers Anritsu and Ascom, with high level representatives from all three companies giving detailed and informative presentations.
InteAmong the presentations on the agenda will be an overview of LTE technologies, developments in 4G standards, the LTE physical layer, 3GPP System Architecture Evolution (SAE), tools/techniques for cost effective Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) performance evaluation, and service quality assurance. There will also be hands-on workshops where the test techniques needed to determine end-to-end network performance will be demonstrated.
According to Kathryn Williams, Marketing Manager of Livingston UK, “Following the success of our seminars on LTE, held back in May, we felt that there was a real demand for further events to encourage continued dialogue on this subject.” “By collaborating with Ascom and Anristu” she continues “we have been able to produce a compelling programme that is certain to be of interest to anybody involved in 4G/LTE test activities. It means that the different parties concerned with establishing future mobile networks will be able to voice their opinions and share their ideas. ”
