Livingston, Anritsu & Ascom Organise Seminar on Challenges of 4G Implementation

Intended for network engineer staff, contract installers, and project managers involved in mobile network rollouts/upgrades, it aims to impart knowledge that will lead to a better understanding of the test requirements of 4G/LTE mobile networks. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the implications of this complex next generation mobile communication technology and gain valuable skills from industry experts to help them deal with the various problems they can expect to encounter when testing 4G network infrastructure.

Among the presentations on the agenda will be an overview of LTE technologies, developments in 4G standards, the LTE physical layer, 3GPP System Architecture Evolution (SAE), tools/techniques for cost effective Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) performance evaluation, and service quality assurance. There will also be hands-on workshops where the test techniques needed to determine end-to-end network performance will be demonstrated.
