Hardware, software solutions feature at Automotive Testing Expo
IPETRONIK will be lining up at the Automotive Testing Expo in Stuttgart (June 16-18) to present new hardware and software for challenging research, development and test requirement. Increasing cost pressure, faster development processes as well as the trend towards electrification through hybrid systems, start-stop-function, and intelligent driver assistance systems require more efficiency during driving tests.
To meet these requirements, IPETRONIK will exhibit the new data logger M-LOG V3 in combination with the fleet management via IPEcloud. This combination is the optimal solution for sustainable and efficient fleet endurance runs during the test phase. High-voltage systems in newly developed electric and hybrid vehicles have remarkably higher requirements on test departments of automobile manufacturers, due to the fact that security aspects absolutely have to be complied. With M-THERMO2 HV, IPETRONIK is providing a temperature measuring module of the approved IPETRONIK M2 series, which meets these requirements.
The new CAN measurement module provides great flexibility due to 4 type K thermocouple inputs for safe measurements on high-voltage potentials along with full system integration in the M2 family.
A fast system configuration and data acquisition/analysis is supported with IPEmotion as well as with IPETRONIK data loggers. X-LINK technology enables a multifunctional and decentralised system that links time synchronously fast Ethernet measurement technology with proven CAN bus measurement technology via only one bus to the standard Ethernet interface of the PC.
Depending on the used software application the hardware platform is currently able to run up to 40 kHz channel sampling rate.
The new IPETRONIK system bus X-LINK is an innovative measurement system, which intelligently grows continuously with new available technologies on the market, without resigning already existing measurement modules.
The IPEmotion Release 2015 is focused on data analysis and offers improved data post-processing functions. This includes processing sequences to link different operations in sequential order, calculation of FFTs by supporting a freely adjustable resolution, and mathematical calculations, logic operations and classifications.
New filter functions are used to extract the original signal from a periodical signal, which is interfered by noise signals. Beside the type of filter, the cut-off frequency and the filter order can be adjusted by the user.
