Ex-i Flow Measurement Ltd. has introduced the SFC3000 flow computer, a versatile and advanced solution for measuring liquid hydrocarbons and gas flow.

Designed to operate in both standalone and multi-stream systems, the SFC3000 serves as the central ‘brain’ of a flow measurement system, offering processing capabilities through a user-friendly touch screen VGA display and unique operating software.

Built specifically for the global liquid hydrocarbon and gas measurement markets, the SFC3000 aims to enhance the management and conservation of energy resources by providing accurate and reliable measurements. This flow computer supports various meter types, including turbine, ultrasonic, and Coriolis flow meters, with connectivity options through pulse input or RS232/485 serial ports.

One of the key features of the SFC3000 is its compliance with AGA, ISO, and API standards, ensuring it meets the stringent requirements for measuring dry and wet natural gas, hydrocarbon liquids, and other gases and liquids. The device is certified by NMi under WELMEC 7.2 and 8.8, OIML R117, and MID 2014/32/EU.

The SFC3000 is also equipped with multiple functions such as data logging, alarm management, and supervisory controls, making it a comprehensive tool for flow measurement and system management. It can accommodate up to six user plug-in cards and handle up to five measurement streams within its standard 19” rack-mountable chassis. With operating temperature ranges between -25 and 55°C and humidity tolerance up to 90% non-condensing, the SFC3000 is designed for reliability in demanding environments.
