Introducing Dustlight – a mobile device designed to protect workers from fine dust exposure in industrial and craft environments.

Dustlight, the first device of its kind, incorporates Sensirion’s SEN5x sensor series, establishing new benchmarks in air quality monitoring.

The inception of Dustlight was driven by the necessity to mitigate the health risks associated with dust exposure. Its tri-colour traffic light display and high-resolution screen deliver real-time dust concentration levels, prompting workers to adopt suitable protective measures. Built to withstand tough conditions, Dustlight is robust and impact-resistant, featuring single-button operation and a language-neutral display for exceptional user-friendliness, ensuring air quality remains within safe parameters.

Dustlight is more than a device; it represents a commitment to worker health and safety. With specialised calibrations and intuitive app configurations, Dustlight measures and clearly visualises dust concentrations, adhering to EU standards for PM10 and PM2.5, as well as German workplace limits for inhalable and respirable dust. Whether for preventive measures or technical analysis, Dustlight offers a comprehensive solution for dust monitoring.

At the core of Dustlight is the SEN5x sensor series, providing accuracy and reliability with its patented Sheath-Flow Technology, ensuring a superior lifetime of 10 years. Its internal protection mechanisms, such as the sheath flow and self-cleaning functions, complement Dustlight’s patented pre-filtration systems. Extensive testing has shown the SEN5x’s durability and consistent performance, essential for maintaining high-quality standards in air quality monitoring.

The SEN5x platform’s modular approach offers flexibility and customisation options. With a single integration, customers can cater to different product levels, streamline the manufacturing process, and implement tailored solutions for specific needs. The SEN5x covers a range of air quality parameters, including fine dust, temperature, humidity, volatile organic compounds, and nitrogen oxides.

Moreover, the SEN5x meets best-in-class specifications of 0-100µg/m³: ±(5µg + 5%), surpassing the previous ±10µg/m³ standard, making it compliant with RESET and WELL Building Standard.

The SEN5x platform simplifies sensor integration and development by including all necessary algorithms, allowing customers to focus on core competencies and develop user-friendly applications without the burden of costly and time-consuming optimisations. This reduces the total cost of ownership and accelerates time to market.

Dustlight’s integration of Sensirion’s advanced sensors through Glyn’s extensive distribution network marks a significant milestone. It demonstrates Dustlight’s dedication to delivering high-quality, reliable, and precise products. The collaboration between Dustlight, Glyn, and Sensirion ensures optimal support through expertise, efficient processes, and resource allocation.

"The partnership with Glyn and the use of Sensirion sensors enable us to offer our customers high-quality and reliable products. Together we are setting standards in air quality monitoring and guarantee the highest standards and efficiency," said Till Neumeier, Co-Founder and CEO of Dustlight.
