Digital oscilloscope price tag targets hobbyists
An important expansion of Rigol Technologies’ oscilloscope portfolio has arrived in the shape of the new DS1202Z-E 200MHz Oscilloscope. It joins the DS1000Z family of digital oscilloscopes which target educators, entrepreneurs, hobbyists and embedded engineers. The new DS1202Z-E comes in a powerful 200MHz version for just $369.
"The DS1000Z transformed the low end oscilloscope market by delivering a highly capable instrument at an economical price," says Michael Rizzo, General Manager of RIGOL North America. "By extending the capabilities in this scope series to 200MHz, engineers working at higher frequencies or needing faster rise time measurements can benefit from the same uncompromised performance and unprecedented value with the DS1202Z-E."
The DS1202Z-E comes standard with two analogue channels, 24MPts of deep memory, a 60,000 frame segmented record mode, standard serial decode and triggering, high resolution FFT, 15 trigger types and 37 integrated measurements making the DS1202Z-E a powerful and capable debug tool for design engineers.
The price means it is also accessible to hobbyists and educators needing increased instrument bandwidth in a high quality package.
The DS1202Z-E is available immediately through Rigol, its network of distribution partners and on Amazon.
