The CTA304 series of miniature, well-priced accelerometers offers a compact yet robust solution for many applications, including defence, aerospace, motor racing, sports dynamics, production and processing, research and development, troubleshooting and laboratory projects.
Measurements of true dynamics are possible due to the accelerometers' ability to measure static (dc) and dynamic accelerations. The sensing elements are high-stability, MEMS micro-machined silicon capacitive strain gauges, potted in a rugged, compact aluminium alloy case designed for ease of mounting. The CTA is a triaxial model, but versions are available with single and dual axis measurement, and with a flying lead or military-specification sub-miniature plug and socket connector.

CTA304 accelerometers are available in ranges from ±2g to ±200g, all with an overload capability of ±4,000g and sealed to IP65. Measurements may be made in the frequency range DC to 1,200Hz. The sensors can be supplied for power supplies of 5V DC or 8 - 16V DC, and supply an output signal of 0.5 to 4.5V, with a zero shift of 2.5V. Aptifirst offers also dual- and single-axis accelerometers, as well as load cells, radio telemetry remote control and monitoring equipment, materials testing instruments, prototype and special instruments and software, and other items. Aptifirst has many years of experience with transducer applications, we are therefore able to fully understand complex project requirements and are happy to assist with any application.
