B&K Precision announces the launch of its new DAQ3120 Benchtop Data Acquisition System. This instrument combines a 6-½ digit digital multimetre (DMM) and a data logger in one compact and modular design.

The built-in DMM provides high accuracy, with a basic DCV accuracy of 0.0035%, and measures 14 different input types, including temperature, AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, frequency, period, capacitance, and strain. Store up to 100kpts of data in non-volatile memory with time stamps for all readings, or write the data directly into a connected USB drive via the USB host port.

The DAQ3120 features three module slots, a large 4.3" TFT colour display, and an intuitive user interface. Select from a variety of input modules to configure the base unit as needed for specific applications. Establish up to 120 channels total, scan at speeds up to 450 channels per second, and measure up to 600V DC. Standard connectivity options include LAN and USB (USBTMC and USBVCP). A micro-GPIB port is also available on the GPIB model. Additional PC software for test configuration and control is available free for download.

Five modules are available to customise with:

  • DM300 20-CH solid-state multiplexer
  • DM301 20-CH multiplexer with two current channels
  • DM303 40-CH single-ended multiplexer
  • DM304 4 x 8 matrix switch
  • DM309 high voltage and current multiplexer
