Aeroflex announces expansion of XTS-5000 Auto-Test II Option to include other Motorola models

The Auto-Test II Option is a breakthrough in radio test technology. When enabled with this feature, the 3920 automatically controls the radio and determines if the radio is performing within specified parameters. The engineer no longer requires a computer to control the radio’s software, since the 3920 takes over the role of radio controller. Test repeatability and results are dramatically improved, and test times are reduced.

Since the system automatically controls the radio, no interaction is required to test and align the radios, allowing for non-technical individuals to tune and confirm radio operational parameters
