Connect: Embedded machine learning for IoT with Edge Impulse
Watch this Connect video where we discuss embedded machine learning with David Schwarz, solutions engineer from Edge Impulse. David also walks through a demo of Edge Impulse’s machine learning platform running on the SimpleLink CC1352P wireless MCU LaunchPad development kit.
Automotive 40-V, 8-channel half-bridge smart gate driver with inline current sense amplifier
The DRV871x-Q1 family of devices are highly integrated, multi-channel gate drivers intended for driving multiple motors or loads. The devices integrate either 4 (DRV8714-Q1) or 8 (DRV8718-Q1) halfbridge gate drivers, driver power supplies, current shunt amplifiers, and protection monitors reducing total system complexity, size, and cost.
Avoid early relay failures now by understanding hot & cold switching
Watch this short video to learn what hot and cold switching is when using reed relays and the effects different switching methods can have on relay life expectancy. The video, created by Pickering Electronics, also talks about capacitive inrush, another common reason for early relay failure that is easily avoidable. Watch the video now to learn more.
Webinar: Overcome the challenges of powering FPGAs in space applications
As FPGAs are continually upgrading their performance, so too is the need for their power consumption. As a result, designers are requiring systems with increased power density that have a level of reliability needed for the harsh environment in space.

Trends in industrial battery-driven applications using wide input voltage DC/DC ICs
Catch up on our online seminar on industrial grade DC/DC converter IC BD9G500EFJ from ROHM Semiconductor which has been designed for high voltage applications. More and more industrial applications require DC/DC converters with wide input voltage range because of increased supply voltages of devices in industrial applications. For example, battery-supplied application requires battery management systems and have higher that other industrial ...
60-V input, 3.5-A, step-down DC/DC converter with Eco-Mode™
The TPS54360B is a 60-V, 3.5-A, step-down regulator with an integrated high side MOSFET. Current mode control provides simple external compensation and flexible component selection. A low ripple pulse skip mode reduces the no-load supply current to 146 µA. Shutdown supply current is reduced to 2 µA when the enable pin is pulled low.
3.2-V to 65-V, 80-uA IQ automotive ideal diode controller
The LM74700-Q1 is an automotive AEC Q100 qualified ideal diode controller which operates in conjunction with an external N-channel MOSFET as an ideal diode rectifier for low loss reverse polarity protection with a 20-mV forward voltage drop. The wide supply input range of 3.2 V to 65 V allows control of many popular DC bus voltages such as 12-V, 24-V and 48-V automotive battery systems. The 3.2-V input voltage support is particularly well suited ...
