SBC supports up to four 4K displays for IoT applications
An SBC developed by iBase Technology is based on the AMD Ryzen processor and can support up to four 4K displays
To meet the computing and power efficiency requirements of today's IoT market, iBase Technology has released the IB952 single board computer (SBC). The 3.5 inch SBC is based on AMD Ryzen Embedded V2000 processors, based on 7nm process technology. It has up to eight cores and 16 threads and, with the integrated AMD Radeon Vega graphics, the board can support four displays in 4K resolution through the onboard interfaces (dual DisplayPort, an eDP, and a 24-bit LVDS dual-channel interface).
The SBC measures 102 x 147mm, and is compact enough for applications where space is limited, for example point of sale (PoS), kiosk, digital signage and factory automation. The board is equipped with two DDR4 SO-DIMM sockets to fit up to 64MB RAM and two PCIe Gbit LANs. It has a wide input voltage range (12V ~ 24V) and two Gigabit Ethernet for high network throughput. The board processor is mounted on the underside to allow the heatsink to occupy the entire footprint for efficient heat dissipation.
For cyber-security, the TPM (Trusted Platform Module) chip provides hardware-based security and there is high-speed peripheral connectivity with two USB 2.0, three USB 3.1, two SATA III, two serial ports, and two M.2 sockets (M-key/E-key). Windows 10 and Linux Ubuntu operating systems are supported.
