ZIGOR gets top marks from Technology Magazine PC Pro
Zigor's latest uninterruptible power supply has been recommended by a Technology Magazine PC Pro. The Zigor Tiber range was recently launched in the United Kingdom as an On-Line UPS designed to provide superior power protection.
UsinAvailable from 1kVA up to 3kVA the Tiber can be floor or rack mounted with an LCD that provides information about input and output voltages, plus load and battery charge status.
Reviewer Dave Mitchell described the Tiber in the latest issue of PC Pro as a low-cost On-Line UPS well suited to protecting critical systems and gave it 5 out of 5 for value for money.
Mitchell also gave marks of 4 out of 5 for performance, 4 out of 5 for features and design with an overall score of 4 out of 5.
He said: “On-Line UPS models usually carry a price premium as they provide electrical isolation which helps to protect business-critical equipment but Zigor’s On-Line 1.5kVA UPS costs less than £400.”
Mitchell used the Dell PowerEdge R515 server which he stated draws around 140W when idle to test the Tiber 1.5kVA model's battery time and the UPS performed better than some of its rivals.
The UPS’s battery kept the server running for 46 minutes which is seven minutes longer than the Tripp-Lite SmartPro,” he added.
Gavin Banks, UK Sales Manager at Zigor, said: “We’re delighted that such a reputable magazine as PC Pro has recognised that the Zigor Tiber offers such good value for money.
“It only serves to highlight Zigor’s continuing commitment to producing high quality uninterruptible power supplies at affordable prices.”
The Zigor Tiber 1kVA starts at £450 (RRP) and includes a two-year advanced replacement warranty as standard.
