Mean Well is pleased to unveil its SGA40 (U/E type) and SGA60 (U/E type) 40 and 60W wall-mounted green adaptors, which comply with EISA 2007/DoE Level VI international energy efficiency regulations. The adaptors feature ultra-low no-load power consumption from 0.075 to 0.15W and working efficiency up to 91%, offering energy savings and carbon footprint reduction in no-load or operating mode.

The SGA40/SGA60 series devices are paired with Euro (E type) and USA (U type) plugs, respectively. They adopt a slim design (32x35mm) that effectively prevents one adaptor body from taking spacing from the adjacent AC receptacle.

The power body is compact, and no additional AC cable is required, making the SGA series easy and convenient for users to carry. These two series offer various models ranging between 5 and 48V that suit applications such as consumer electronics, telecomms devices, office/commercial equipment and industrial apparatus.

Accepting 90-264 VAC input, the adaptors operate in the temperature range of -12 to +50°C, and feature short-circuit, overload and over-voltage protection as standard.

With dimensions of 75.5x32x47.5mm for the 40W unit and 93.5x35x51.5mm for the 60W unit, the series is subject to U-type UL/CUL/CB/FCC and E-type TUV/CB/CE approvals, and comes with 3 years standard warranty.
