ULTRAVOLT - Price Drop On 10KV-40KV High-Voltage Power Supplies
UltraVolt announced today that the 10A-25A Series and 30A-40A Series of 10kV-40kV modules will now be offered at lower prices. Models in these product lines have received up to a 29% price reduction.
While UltraVolt has always served customers by delivering quality products, the company
decided to focus on delivering those same quality products at lower cost. By focusing on supply
chain management and first-pass yield as well as optimizing manufacturing, UltraVolt is now able
to deliver world-class quality products at a lower price, passing savings on to its customers. The
first step in this effort was to lower prices on the 10A-25A Series and 30A-40A Series modules –
UltraVolt’s higher voltage product lines. UltraVolt hopes to continue this campaign and drop
prices on additional product lines.
New UltraVolt’s 10A-25A Series and 30A-40A Series of high-voltage power supplies feature a wide
input voltage range, output current and voltage monitors, and indefinite output short-circuit
protection. Models in the 10A-25A Series are offered at output voltages of 10kV to 25kV; 30A-
40A Series models are offered at 30kV-40kV. All models in both product lines are offered with
output power ranging from 4W to 30W. Although the modules feature low ripple (as low as
0.012% V peak to peak), all models can use UltraVolt’s –F Option accessory together with the –M
Option accessory to lower ripple up to 2 orders of magnitude. Typical applications for these
models include electrophoresis, mass spectrometry, electron microscopes, plasma, cathode ray
tubes, electrostatic discharge testers, x-ray, and wire testers.
“UltraVolt has an unyielding commitment to our customers, and we wanted to do everything
possible to make it easier for them to get the power supplies they need for their designs,” said
James Morrison, CEO & Co-founder. “After reviewing and tightening our manufacturing
processes, we are proud to deliver Higher Service with a price drop on our 10kV-40kV models,
which is yet another step in Making High Voltage Easier®”.
