Ultra Compact 250W AC/DC Power Supplies
Powersolve has made significant additions to its AC/DC power supply offering with the launch of a series of ultra compact units ideally suited for those applications where space is at a premium. According to Powersolve’s Managing Director, Peter Clark, they “have a very small footprint for the level of power available”.
The All models in the JB250 Series feature an auto-selectable AC input ranging from 90 to 264V and are available as either single output units, with fixed voltages from 2-60V DC or with dual output combinations based on 3.3, 5,12, 24 and 48V. Up to 600W peak power is possible within a 500µs duty duration. Operating temperature range is 0 to 70ºC with derating from 50 ºC.
Features include protection against over voltage, over temperature and short circuit. Remote on-off is standard as is a 12VDC, 300mA output to drive an external cooling fan.
Dimensions for the open model are 1.5 x 3.2 x 5in. The fan cover adds just 0.5in to the height.
The units comply with EN61000-3-2 for Harmonic Distortion and are fully approved to UL, CUL, TUV, CSA and CE standards. EMC meets EN55022’B’ for conducted emissions.
