ICCNexergy announces the release of the U1LiFe long-life Lithium Iron Phosphate medical cart battery portfolio. ICCNexergy's U1LiFe battery portfolio is specifically designed for mobile medical cart applications that require longer runtime, faster charge time, consistent power, and longer service life compared to traditional Sealed Lead Acid batteries. The entire portfolio is backed by a 3 year limited warranty.
We are excited to offer a portfolio of products that provide run-time options for our medical cart customers, said Michael Davis, Vice President Marketing and Sales at ICCNexergy. We identified a lack of capacity options available in the market. It really was a 'one size fits all' solution landscape that prompted our acquisition of Applied Power earlier this year and the rapid release of the U1LiFe portfolio of long-life Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries. Added Davis, Depending on the application focus of the medical cart manufacturer, power requirements and runtimes can vary widely based on how the cart is equipped and used in the hospital.

The U1LiFe battery portfolio of products builds upon ICCNexergy's 45 year history of supplying medical equipment manufacturers with advanced power accessories. The U1LiFe medical cart battery portfolio is available in three different capacity configurations: U1-40 (491Wh), U1-45 (573Wh) and the powerful U1-50 (655Wh); all in the same industry standard U-1 case foot print of 208x137x185mm. The portfolio will be produced in the company's wholly-owned ISO13485 certified manufacturing facility in Tijuana, Mexico with production volumes available in July 2013. The portfolio is designed to be a direct replacement for existing 40Ah LiFePO4 batteries, is in the same form factor as Sealed Lead Acid U-1 batteries, and is compatible with most industry standard LiFePO4 power inverters.
