TTI IP&E – Europe is now offering Mean Well power components, including the latest DHP-1UT-B(HV) power shelf, to assist electronics engineers in designing and developing next-generation renewable and hydrogen energy systems.

“EU Environmental regulations require 45% of Europe’s energy generation to come from renewable sources by 2030,” said Markus Lorenz, Director Industry Marketing, Industrial, TTI Europe. “To achieve this, green energy generated from wind turbines and solar panels must be stored efficiently. Hydrogen is also expected to play a major part in the transition towards a more sustainable future as using hydrogen power is the most efficient way to transport and store energy with higher density and over a longer time frame without losses.”

The Mean Well DHP-1UT-B(HV) mounting rack power shelf, designed for standard 19” cabinets, offers a reliable and modular power supply solution ideal for applications such as electrolysis, distributed power systems, and electric vehicle charging stations.

The rack is capable of holding up to four Mean Well NCP-3200-380 power supplies in a row, providing 12.8kW of power per rack. Up to 10 racks can be connected in parallel, delivering a total power output of up to 128kW. This modular design allows users the flexibility to scale as power requirements increase, ensuring future demands can be met.

The power rack also supports redundancy with the ability to configure the power supplies in an N+1 setup, ensuring maximum operational reliability. If a power supply fails, it can be replaced easily without interrupting the overall system.

As part of a broader smart power system, the Mean Well DHP-1UT-B(HV) is compatible with other components, including the NCP-3200-380 power module and the CMU2 smart power controller, delivering a comprehensive power management solution.
